Cooking Instructions - General
For best results oven cook from frozen
Ensure meal is placed on an appropriate baking tray or plate.
If plating the meal up, gently lift the pie out of the tray using a spatula.
We recommend that you cook from frozen only
These timings given are a guide only as variations between differing appliances may occur.
The container may soften slightly during cooking but will regain its strength on standing.
Care should be taken when removing the film as hot steam may escape from the container.
Ensure the food is piping hot throughout before serving.
Microwave - From Frozen
- Remove the meal from the carton.
- Pierce the film over both compartments.
- Place on a plate in the microwave and heat as per instructions below.
EC705: 700W 14 mins
IEC705: 800W 13 mins
Before serving, remove the film and leave the meal to stand for 2 mins
Oven cook - From Frozen
- Pre-heat oven to 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas mark 6.
- Remove the meal from the carton.
- Pierce the film over both compartments.
- Place the meal on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the pre-heated oven for 45 minutes.
- Remove the film and leave the meal to stand for two minutes before serving.
- If plating the meal up, gently lift the pie out of the tray using a spatula.
- To cook in a combination oven, adjust the cooking time by referring to manufacturer's instructions.
Keep Frozen. Store in a freezer at -18ºc or colder.
